High school students can earn free college credit and more
Chemeketa Community College is offering a number of summer programs for high school students, including

Free Summer Bolt College Classes (current juniors and seniors)
For upcoming seniors and high school graduates, earn Chemeketa credits during the summer while taking free (including free digital textbooks) classes from home.
Summer term runs from June 24 to July 27. New student registration opens May 14 and the deadline to apply and register is June 10.

Free CTE classes for college credit (students currently in grades 9-12)
Students can learn about a variety of topics that are offered either in-person or online. Classes run from June 24 through August 17. New student registration opens May 14 and the deadline to apply and register is June 17.

Free CTE Exploration Week (students ages 14- to -16-years-old)
Students can attend a hands-on, four-day camp on the Salem campus. The camp runs from July 15-18 from 8:30 a.m. -1:45 p.m. Grab and go breakfast and lunch is included. The deadline to register is Friday, June 14 or until filled.
