Duniway Middle School hosted professionals in more than a dozen fields for its annual career day for eighth graders.

The goal of career day is to expose students to a variety of careers
and help spark their curiosity for particular jobs that they may be
interested in the future. Students heard about work opportunities and
experiences from 16 professionals in their fields. Speakers were asked
to share how education helped prepare them for their career, what they
love about their job and the path they took to their current position.

JP Kloninger: Business owner and fitness expert

Maria Olsen: Investment advisor

Emma Judd: Hair stylist

Brook Persoon: Sound engineer

John Ross: Recruiter, Portland Trailblazers

Cindy Holmes: Sign language interpreter
