Fall Sports' Teams GPA's

McMinnville High School’s fall athletes performed extremely well both on the field and in the classroom. In fact, congratulations are in order to our football team for finishing in the top 10 in the state in the Oregon Dairy Farmers All Academic Teams with 4th pace honors and a combined GPA of 3.22.
Other teams that placed included:
Volleball 3.57 GPA 12th
Boys’ Cross Country 3.44 GPA 18th
Girls’ Cross Country 3.68 GPA 20th
Girls’ Soccer 3.47 GPA 24th
Given that these students are spending approximately three additional hours a day in practices and in games they and their parents are to be commended for their accomplishments. Recognition also should go to the all of our coaches who help monitor the student-athletes and their work progress.

Finally, a note of thanks to all of our teachers and staff members for their extra effort and patience as they work with our student-athletes so that they do not fall behind in the school work.
