Karina Smith, Ed.D., comes from education service district in Central Oregon
Karina Smith, Ed.D., has been hired as McMinnville School District’s Director of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. She comes from the High Desert Education Service District in Redmond, Oregon, where she has served as principal and regional director for Migrant Education Programs since 2015.
Smith also served as professor/instructor of adult Spanish language courses and the Latino program coordinator at Central Oregon Community College and a K-12 Spanish teacher.
She will begin her new duties with MSD on July 1, 2022.
