(Spanish) If inclement weather affects school operations, following are the ways the district will communicate information to families.
The district will post school closures, delays and updates on the websites and on the district Facebook page and Instagram feed.
The district will use the mass notification system, ParentSquare, to contact student homes no earlier than 6 a.m. The system will send a phone dialer with a recorded message, text and email, if available. This system will be used for school closures and delayed starts. NOTE: closure/delay decisions may be made before 6 a.m. If you would like earlier notice, click here for information on FlashAlert.
Families will be contacted via ParentSquare and FirstView when buses are using snow routes. NOTE: messages about snow routes only apply to morning routes unless otherwise indicated. If afternoon buses are on snow routes, another message will be sent.
Emergency messages will be provided via FlashAlert to Portland television and radio stations, the News-Register, and local radio stations KLYC (1260 AM) and KWIP (880 AM Spanish language).

PLEASE NOTE: IF NO ANNOUNCEMENT IS MADE, SCHOOLS AND BUSES WILL OPERATE AS USUAL.
