McMinnville School District’s Public Safety department oversees fire and earthquake drills, campus security, building safety audits, and staff and student training such as Standard Response Protocol (SRP), a uniform, planned, and practiced response to any incident.

Additionally, every school has a certified First Aid/CPR provider and several schools have staff who have completed the Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT) training.
