Kindergarten

McMinnville School District provides a full-day kindergarten program to support a strong start for all students. MSD’s kindergarten focuses on literacy development, math/number sense development, and social skills. Kindergarten also includes PE, music, library and Science Experiences.

More about MSD kindergarten:

• Children who will be five years old on or before September 1 may register for kindergarten.

• Students attend the neighborhood school as determined by district school boundaries.

• Kindergarten follows the elementary school schedule, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., except for late-start Wednesdays, which begin at 9 a.m. and end at 2:30 p.m.

• Students who live outside of the one-mile walking distance may register to ride buses to and from school.
