School Boundaries

The McMinnville School District (MSD) encompasses 144 square miles in the cities of McMinnville and Lafayette. Students are assigned to school attendance boundaries based on their home address.

Intra-School Transfers

These are transfers between two schools within the McMinnville School District.

• To request a transfer to a different school within the district, complete the school transfer form (Español) and return it to your resident school.

• Questions should also be addressed to your resident school.

Admission of Nonresident Students

These are transfers between two districts; McMinnville School District and another school district.

• To transfer into (Español) McMinnville School District, start at your resident district.

• To transfer out of McMinnville School District, request a transfer release form by email transfers@msd.k12.or.us or call 503.565.4000. .

Moving

Whether you are moving to another school within the district or out, please contact your current school to let them know your child will be changing schools. Contact the new school and follow their registration process. The new school will contact your current school for your child’s records.

Charter School

If you are interested in your children attending a charter school; contact the charter school and receive information about an Intent to Enroll form or notice to our district.

Homeschool
