Frozen Trees On To On A Mountain Frozen Trees On To On A Mountain

(Spanish) If severe weather affects school operations, schools will either be closed for the day, delayed by two hours or released early.

  • Closed

When schools are closed, afterschool and evening activities may also be canceled.

  • Two-Hour Delay

    • A delay means that the school day will start two hours later than normal. Elementary schools will begin at 10 a.m.; middle schools at 10:20 a.m.; and MHS at 10:30 a.m.
    • Buses will also arrive two hours later at each stop.
    • The school day will end at 2:30 p.m. for elementary; 3:15 for middle school; and 3:25 for MHS.
    • Unless otherwise noted, Grab and Go breakfasts will also be available for students who arrive at school at the delayed start time.
    • Morning pre-K classes are canceled when school is delayed.
  • Wednesday Two-Hour Delay

If a two-hour delay is called on a Wednesday, the schedule will be the same as a normal school-day delay (see above).

  • Early Release

If schools must be released early due to weather or other event, families will be notified as soon as possible via ParentSquare.
