• MINUTES OF THE SCHOOL BOARD OF DISTRICT NO. 40, 
  YAMHILL COUNTY, McMINNVILLE, OREGON

  The Board of Directors of McMinnville School District met for a Board Retreat Session on June 4, 2022, in the District Office
  located at 800 NE Lafayette Ave., McMinnville, Oregon.

  BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT:
  Chair Carson Benner
  Mr. Gerardo Partida
  Ms. Janis Braich
  Ms. Abbie Warmbier
  Mr. Jason Bizon
  Mr. Larry Vollmer

  BOARD MEMBER ABSENT
  Dr. Paul Haddeland

  ADMINISTRATION:
  Ms. Debbie Brockett, Superintendent
  Cherice Bowden, Board Secretary

  The board reviewed information sheets, including 2022-2023 board meeting dates, contact information, revision of the mission statement, school board goals, Superintendent goals, board brochure, and subcommittee lists. 

  The Board and Superintendent Brockett reviewed board policies. 

  Kourtney Ferrua presented an overview on CIA and the Assessment Plan/NWEA.

  Stefanie Frost reported out on staffing updates/ESSER positions, recruitment and retention information.

  Kevin Carroll discussed the reorganization initiatives for special education.

  Luke Neff reported on transitioning to new systems.

  Legal updates were given.

  The retreat adjourned at 5:15 p.m.
