Three weeks beginning August 1
McMinnville School District kicks off summer school for middle school students next week.
Summer school will run Mondays through Thursdays for three weeks, beginning Monday, August 1 and ending Thursday, August 18. Summer school begins at 9 a.m. and ends at noon with a grab-and-go lunch.
Due to construction at Patton, summer school will take place at Duniway this year. Students registered for the “Make it out of Metal” class can be dropped off and picked up directly from the McMinnville High School Career Technical Center (CTC) building, which is adjacent to Wortman Stadium in the high school parking lot off 15th Street. Students in the “Metal” class who ride the bus or walk to Duniway will be bused to and from the high school campus from Duniway. Students registered in the “Metal” class who live near MHS may walk to the CTC building.
