The 2016-17 school year launched today across the McMinnville School District. Elementary schools opened their doors to all students and secondary schools opened on a modified schedule.
Sixth grade students begin at the usual time, and seventh and eighth graders start at 12:45 p.m.
Freshmen were welcomed by staff lining the courtyard and cheering the incoming students.
High school sophomores and upper classmen begin tomorrow, September 7.
