Following is a message regarding inclement weather school make-up days:

There will be changes to the school calendar due to the inclement weather we have recently experienced. McMinnville School District students will make up 3 of the 4 days school was closed due to snow. The last school day for students will now be June 21st.

If we experience further inclement weather that results in school closures, additional make-up school days may be scheduled, in which case we will send another letter home to notify you of the calendar changes.

As a result of the extended school calendar this year, we have adjusted the semester/quarter schedule, impacting students in the following ways:

  • The grading day previously scheduled for January 27th has been moved to February 3rd in order to add instructional days to the semester/quarter.

    • Students come to school on January 27th but do not come to school on February 3rd.
  •  The grading day previously scheduled for April 7th has been moved to April 14th.

    • Students come to school on April 7th but do not come to school on April 14th.
  •  Spring parent/teacher conferences have been changed from April 13th and 14th to April 20th and 21st.

    • Conferences will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on April 20th and from 8:00 am – noon on April 21st.
    • Students do not come to school on April 21st.

We appreciate your flexibility in adapting to these calendar changes so that our students do not lose further instructional time due to inclement weather. The new calendar will be sent home and can also be downloaded here. Any questions can be directed to the district office at 503.565.4000.

Thank you for your continuing support of our schools and your student.
