Have you signed up for the “Be College Ready” offers this year? Every family with a current kindergartner can get $25 to open a new (or contribute to an existing) account with the Oregon College Savings Plan. The deadline to receive this offer is Tuesday, February 28, 2017.
Additionally, one family in every elementary school can win $529 to open (or contribute to an existing) account. Entry deadline is Friday, March 31, 2017.

Last year, the McMinnville School District was selected to be one of five pilot districts across the state to launch a new program to help families save for college. “Be College Ready” is an outreach program designed to prepare for your student’s post-secondary education.
“Be College Ready” is part of the Oregon College Savings Plan and the free accounts offer a tax-advantaged way to save. Funds can be used for universities, colleges, community college and vocational training.
