Directors Comments
Gerardo Partida stated he is happy to be going with the kids for a field trip. They are going to go to the Heritage Museum. It is great to be there with them.
Dr. Paul Haddeland mentioned the overdose that happened in town. He stated that we need to be able to use Narcan appropriately and make sure we have it available.
Janis Braich thanked the District for how the snow days were handled. It was a difficult call but if a student would have fallen and gotten hurt, then same on us. She thinks it was a good call and thanked the district again for being on top of it.
Abbie Warmbier stated that she loved the kindergartens who came in with their little box violins. She mentioned that tomorrow from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. is family code night at the middle schools.
Jason Bizon echoed what Janis said regarding the snow day.
Chair Carson Benner stated that making the snow day call was difficult. When you’re watching what happened in the commercial industry, a whole lot of people weren’t at work because it wasn’t safe. He thinks the district made a really good call.
The Session adjourned at 7:46 p.m.
