The Oregon School Board Association (OSBA) recently published a series of five articles that outline key components of the McMinnville School District’s ongoing efforts to improve outcomes for students.
The series is part of a state-wide effort to improve graduation rates in Oregon schools. As part of that effort, an extensive outreach initiative reached out to over 1,000 key stakeholders in education and came up with two overarching themes to frame Oregon’s education policy:
- The need for equitable practices and outcomes
- The need for relationships, partnerships and relevance within the Oregon education system
The OSBA series covers those themes by showing how they are implemented in McMinnville. The series includes
