Program Begins Monday, June 16
The MSD Summer Meals program begins Monday, June 16 at a variety of locations throughout the community. This year’s summer-long school site will be Willamette Elementary, serving onsite breakfast (8:30-9 a.m.) and lunch (11:30-noon) Monday-Friday from June 16 –Aug. 15th. Any child ages 1-18 may receive a summer meal at any of the locations. (Note: there will be no service on Thursday-Friday, June 19-20 and Friday, July 4.)
Other major sites are parks, which will be grab-and-go breakfast/lunch packs, and will be scheduled from June 16 – August 14th. Sites include
- Mac Library park (10:30-10:50 a.m.)
- Evergreen Aviation Museum (11:10-11:30 a.m.)
- Lafayette’s Joel Perkins Park (10:45-11:05 a.m.)
- Chegwyn Farms Park (11:20-11:40 a.m.)
- Jay Pearson Park (11:50 a.m.-12:10 p.m.)
- Discovery Meadows (12:20-12:40 p.m.)
Beginning the week of Aug. 18, Monday –Thursday, all MSD elementary schools will have onsite breakfast (8:30-9 a.m.) and lunch (11:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m.). The summer program ends Thursday, Aug. 21.
