Two Administrators to Take on New Roles
As we prepare for the start of the new school year, McMinnville School District is announcing leadership updates that ensure strong leadership and continuity in both our Human Resources Department and Memorial Elementary School.
Emily Linnertz, Director of Human Resources, has made the personal decision to leave the district. We are grateful for Emily’s service and wish her the very best in her next chapter.
Following a recent recruitment process, Barb Keeton has been appointed Director of Human Resources. Barb has previously been a finalist for this position and has long expressed an interest in HR leadership. Throughout her career, she has been passionate about supporting and developing staff, making this a natural next step. She brings strong leadership, deep knowledge of our district, and a genuine commitment to serving our employees.
As Barb steps into this districtwide leadership role, Charlotte Hendricks will serve as Principal of Memorial Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year. Charlotte is well known to the Memorial community, having served for many years as both a classroom teacher and Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA). She is a highly respected instructional leader who values strong relationships with students, staff, and families and is committed to creating a welcoming learning environment where every student can thrive.
Please join us in congratulating Barb and Charlotte on their new leadership opportunities and thanking Emily for her service to McMinnville School District. We look forward to a successful school year and appreciate the continued partnership of our Memorial families, staff, and community.
