Join McMinnville High School (MHS) Culinary Arts students in their final Bistro Night event of the year on Friday, May 24 from 5:30 – 8 p.m. in the MHS Café. 

The fundraising event is $30 for a four-course dinner plus intermezzo. The menu includes:

 

Amuse-bouche

Calamari Fritti

Served with a sweet chili sauce; garnished with fresh parsley and lemon juice

 

Appetizer

Painted Hills Sirloin with smoked paprika butter

Served atop tri-color potato cakes brushed with duck fat; topped with pickled shallot & garnished with microgreens dressed in a sherry vinaigrette

 

Entree

Mediterranean Chicken Roulade

Filled with a medley of sundried tomatoes, parsley, and bacon; served with a basil pasta, charred romanesco, purple & orange cauliflower. Served with a mushroom supreme sauce and garnished with green onions.

 

Intermezzo

Strawberry Basil Sorbet

A light palette cleanser

 

Dessert

Chocolate Flourless cake

Served with a hemp seed & cocoa nib crumble, rich cocoa sauce and bruleed banana discs; tart cherry reduction, garnished with chiffonade mint & fresh raspberries
