The McMinnville School District has formed a committee to assess current boundaries for the district’s six elementary and middle schools. The committee will address the issues of school capacity and possible enrollment shifts that could result from new housing developments in McMinnville.
“We formed this committee to examine our existing boundaries,” said Dr. Maryalice Russell, superintendent for the McMinnville School District. “We want to be sure our school enrollments are balanced to best serve the needs of our students.”
A community forum will be scheduled on May 8, location TBA.
Updates and minutes from committee meetings will be posted under “Boundary Committee” on the district home page’s “Quick Links.”
