Noah Miller, a Duniway Middle School eighth grader, has been selected as Oregon’s top middle level youth volunteer in the 2015 Prudential Spirit of Community Awards program.
As a state honoree, Noah will receive a $1,000 award, an engraved
medallion, and an all-expense-paid trip to Washington, D.C., for a
series of national recognition events in early May.
Duniway leadership teacher Maria Drennen noted, “Noah is of exemplary
character. He is the embodiment of heart and passion – of living a
life with purpose and leaving a legacy through service to others. He
represents all that is possible for the youth of Oregon and the future
of our state.”
