McMinnville
School District has been recognized for high standards in government
and financial reporting by the Association of School Business Officials.
The district received the Award of Financial Reporting Achievement for
its 2013-14 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report.
The award is the highest form of recognition in the area of
governmental accounting and financial reporting. In a letter to
Superintendent Russell, Executive Director John Musso said, “As the only
award program specifically designed for school district financial
reporting, the Certificate of Excellence represents a significant
achievement and reflects a high level of commitment ot fiscal integrity.
To receive the award, the district must satisfy specific guidelines for
effective, high-quality finanical reporting recognized by school
business officials.”
The district has won this award for six consecutive years.
