The McMinnville School District Nutrition Services team will provide meals to any child (aged 1 – 18) along pre-established bus routes or at district elementary schools between 11:30 a.m. – noon. (Please see the bus route list for some changes.)
Note: Information about the meals program has changed from details included in the Back to School packets due to a last-minute waiver by the USDA.
Breakfast and lunch will be served together until Oct. 1, when an additional meal will be added as part of the district’s after-school program.
The free service will continue through the end of December or until allocated federal funds are depleted.
While the free meals service will continue for the time being, eligible families are encouraged to complete free and reduced price meal applications. Approved applications, along with a completed waiver form, will enable families to apply for other education associated benefits. These benefits include free or reduced internet access and waivers for sports and SAT fees.
Note: Meal applications must be submitted every year, despite prior eligibility.
