Juarez sworn in at meeting
Jasmin Juarez was appointed to the McMinnville School Board last night, Monday, Oct. 13. She fills the position vacated by Doris Towery, who has held the position 7 at-large position since 2023.
Juarez was one of seven candidates who applied for the position, and one of three finalists interviewed by the board at the September board work session. She is vice president of the Hispanic PTA and has two children in the district.
After being sworn in, Juarez assumed the position immediately. She will serve out Towery’s term, which ends June 30, 2027.
