
Ryan McIrvin Lauded by National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association
McMinnville High School Athletic and Activities Director, Ryan McIrvin, has earned the 2026 National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association’s (NIAAA) Award of Merit for Oregon. Organizers presented him with the award at the Oregon Athletic Directors Association (OADA) state conference.
The annual award recognizes McIrvin’s dedication to high school athletics. NIAAA presents the award to honorees who demonstrate contributions to education-based athletics and local and state levels.
McIrvin serves on the Board of Directors for OADA, and is the statewide scheduling coordinator for 6A and 5A sports. He is also involved in the Oregon State Activities Association (OSAA), serving on the Ad-Hoc Football Committee and leading the Football Scheduling Committee.
Previous honors for McIrvin include the 6A Oregon Athletic Director of the Year, and the Oregon Cheerleading Coaches Association’s Administrator of the year. McIrvin has spent a decade as the Athletic and Activities Director at MHS and holds 15 years of experience as the Head Football Coach.
