Students in the MHS Culinary Arts pathway are mounting a fundraiser for upcoming competitions by selling traditional holiday pies for Thanksgiving.
Pumpkin or apple pies, with or without whipped cream, are available for $10 each.
Orders must be placed by Friday, Nov. 17 at 3 p.m.
“This is a great way for students to practice their culinary skills and to raise funds at the same time,” said Culinary Arts teacher Krista Carpino. “Competing in outside culinary competitions has associated costs so this helps them both practice their skills and fundraise in a meaningful way.”
Pies will be boxed and available for delivery on Tuesday evening, Nov. 21 before 7:30 p.m. or for pickup on Wednesday, Nov. 22 before noon.
