An MHS student art show opens on May 9 with an opening celebration
that starts at 11 a.m. The show runs through May 23. It  will be at the
Grain Station, 755 NE Alpine Avenue, Mcminnville.

Advanced Placement Studio Art students have been working for the past
seven months to produce 24 pieces of art that is worthy of a
professional portfolio. They used traditional media: acrylic,
watercolor, photography, marker and colored pencil, and experimental
media: practical effects (makeup, prosthetics, props), digital art, and
mixed media (cardboard, leaves on shoes, cut paper).

The following students will have work at the exhibit: Kitana Wert,
Lydia Carrillo, Alexis Ramirez, Allie Pope, Malia Riggs, Jose Perez
Quinchuela, Lacey Rodney, Sabrina Riff, James Snyder, Mya Clover, Owen
Binkard, Marisa Clark, Chloe Zinda, and Sunset Jones.
