

Families and community invited to Thursday, April 27 event
(Spanish) McMinnville School District is hosting a safety summit for the community and families of K-12 students on Thursday evening, April 27 from 6 – 8 p.m. at McMinnville High School. Working in partnership with several local agencies, the summit is intended to provide information, resources and local contacts to our school community to support the safety and well-being of our children and young adults.
Some sessions will be conducted separately in English and Spanish (noted as “English/Spanish”) and others (“Bilingual”) will offer interpretation services. Childcare for children 2 and older will be available. Participating partners include Juliette’s House, Henderson House, Willamette ESD, Lutheran Family Services, Yamhill County Public Health, McMinnville Police Department, Homeland Security, and Soroptimists International of McMinnville.
