Program intended to close the homework gap
(Spanish) MSD is offering free hotspot devices and wireless service to families who need additional access to the internet for school-related work. Intended to close the homework gap, the program will provide free devices and service to families of eligible students in grades K-12 who do not have home internet access.
Families whose children qualify for the free/reduced lunch program are eligible to receive a hotspot device. The hotspots are available on a “one device per family” basis and are subject to availability.
McMinnville School District has partnered with T-Mobile and Project 10Million to provide free hotspot devices and wireless service to families of eligible students in grades K-12.
Families can sign up online or by contacting their school.
The hotsots will be available for up to five years and will provide up to 100GB a year for students. For more information, click here for Frequently Asked Questions.
The program is a partnership between the district, T-Mobile and Project 10Million.
