David Cano comes from Yamhill County Family and Youth Services
David Cano has been hired as MSD’s new Student & Family Engagement Program Manager. He comes from Yamhill County’s Health and Human Services division where he has worked in Family and Youth Services since 2009.
In his new position, Cano will work with at-risk students and their families to connect them with services and resources that will help students succeed in school and beyond. He will also be the liaison for student families’ homeless services, drug and alcohol student counseling, mental health services, and more.
Cano starts in his new position with the district on June 13, 2022.
