Testing Program Mcminnville School District Testing Program Mcminnville School District

Voluntary, weekly screening for asymptomatic students

McMinnville School District is now participating in a free, and voluntary, student screening program for COVID-19. The program is intended for students who do not have symptoms or a known exposure to a positive case.

Note: This is a separate program from the current testing system for symptomatic students at school. If your child displays symptoms at home or has a known exposure, please see your medical provider.

Students may be tested as often as every week by enrolling in the program. The program requires a signed parent/guardian consent form, which can be downloaded or picked up at the child’s school. Families may opt out of the program at any time.

To participate, families must create a patient account at www.LabDash.net. On Tuesdays, families may pick up a PCR test kit between 7:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. at 1500 NE Baker Street in McMinnville and return it the following morning between 7 – 9:45 a.m. Results are available within two days.

Participation in the program and all results are confidential, however, positive COVID-19 results must be reported to the local public health authority for case investigation and contact tracing. If your child tests positive, please inform the school immediately.  MSD staff will provide you with a return date and more information about accessing your child’s learning during the quarantine period.

Sharing information about your child will only be done for public health purposes and in accordance with applicable law and policies protecting student privacy and the security of your child’s data. The testing program is a collaboration between the Oregon Health Authority and the Oregon Department of Education and is available to all Oregon K-12 students during the 2021-22 academic year.
