State-of-the-art facility built in memory of former student Ronan Godfrey

A new, professional-grade podcast production studio opened at Duniway in a celebratory ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, March 5. Spearheaded by the Traveling Light Foundation and its community partners, the facility will allow students to get hands-on experience in broadcast production.

Leadership students started a series called “This Week at Duniway,” featuring overviews of school activities, weather, lunch menus and more. As the students learn more, the series will expand to include interviews and other longer form features.  The studio will eventually be available to more students as well.

The studio was created in memory of former Duniway student, the late Ronan Godfrey. Ronan was a gamer and loved to create videos that he would post on his own YouTube channel, “SubTerranean Gaming.”

The podcasts can be found on the Duniway website under the “Students” tab.
