The annual McMinnville Noon Rotary Outstanding Teacher awards honored five district educators via Zoom. The awards are intended to show the community’s support for the outstanding work done in our schools by teachers.
Superintendent Maryalice Russell introduced the principal of each recipient, who outlined why the teacher was chosen for the award, and each teacher spoke a few words.
The teachers honored this year include

Sarah McBride, Grandhaven Elementary
Wendy Maselli, McMinnville High School
Mackenzie Smith, Newby Elementary
Jace Widmer, Wascher Elementary
Each teacher will receive a plaque and monetary prize for this recognition, honoring their dedication to teaching and their students.
