Patton Middle School presents “Young Sherlock” by Craig Sodaro. The production takes a trip back to when Sherlock Holmes (played by Joel Ruden) was a student at Butterworth Academy and is presented with the challenge of solving his first real case.

Two girls are kidnapped from the school, and John Watson (played by Dylan Elliott) hopes his friend and classmate will be able to solve his first crime.  A psychic, Madame Lulu (played by Guadalupe Ponce), appears on the scene and guarantees to find the students — much to the disapproval of the headmistress, Miss Butterworth (played by Eowyn Clayton).  The bumbling, inept Constable Bing (played by Ella Weinreb) shows up on the scene and is in a battle with Sherlock to solve the case.

The show will be performed at Patton Middle School on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 13 and 14 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 15 at 2 p/m. Tickets are $5 for General Admission and $3 for students and seniors.

Doors open a half hour before the show starts. General Admission Tickets can be purchased at the door.

Patton Drama will also present the annual Holiday Craft sale at each performance. All funds will benefit theatre in district schools.

The show is co-directed by Emily Wilcox and her student teacher, Amberly Orr from George Fox University.
