Patton students Brooklynn Grimes and Joel Ruden have been selected to participate in the Oregon Music Educators Association All-State Honor Choir. The seventh-grade students were selected from a pool of several hundred singers across Oregon through a recorded audition process. Last year, students participated from over 60 different middle schools in Oregon.
The students will perform with the Middle School All-State Choirs as part of the Conference Gala Series on Friday night, January 17 in Eugene. This is the 13th year that Patton Middle School has had at least one student selected to represent the school at this annual event.
