Directors Comments
Larry Vollmer stated that there is lots of testing, planning, and focusing on getting students credits. It is nice to see all of the activity and positivity.
Abbie Warmbier stated that March of last year planning all of the events ahead was difficult and now we are getting back to normal. She shared some of the events she has been able to attend and mentioned that Prom was this weekend. She stated that employees have been putting in the extra hours to make this happen. She said “thank you for making it happen for the kids”.
Janis Braich mentioned that she loves to see the brochure coming in the mail. This is how a lot of families receive information. She stated that our District does special things, and we have a special district. She said “thank you for putting it out”.
Dr. Paul Haddeland stated he enjoyed reading the article in the paper on Superintendent Brocett. He stated it is exciting to see kids engaged and the staff working so hard. He is very appreciative of their efforts.
Gerardo Partida stated the GYO program gives the juniors and seniors an opportunity. He mentioned a school in California that had 15-20 each year enroll in the heavy equipment program. The students were certified within two years if they stayed in the program. Some of them did not go to college, but with this program they received good salaries from companies .
