A new chapter of the award-winning documentary “Screenagers” is coming to McMinnville. Secondary student families are invited to a free showing of “Screenagers: Next Chapter: Uncovering Skills for Stress Resilience” on Tuesday, Jan. 21 at 6 p.m. at Patton Middle School.

The original film, “Screenagers,” which aired in McMinnville in January 2019, explores the impact of screen technology on kids and offers parents and families proven solutions to helping navigate the digital world.

The new documentary examines the science behind teen’s emotional challenges, the interplay of social media, and most importantly, what can be done in schools and homes to help students build crucial skills to navigate stress, anxiety and depression in the digital age.

The local screening is made possible through grant funds, Patton and Duniway PTAs and Linfield College. To find out more about the Screenagers project, click here.
