Presentation at the Family Resource Center on May 12
On Thursday, May 12 at 7 p.m., MSD Director of Student Services Kevin Carroll will present an overview of Special Education services for families in the district.
The session will include the basics of special education, initial concerns, the process once a concern is brought to light, and then the process to determine if a student should be referred for an evaluation. The presentation will also cover what happens after a student is referred, including the required timelines and the process to determine eligibility and what comes next.
