Local law enforcement agencies collaborate on school safety
(Spanish) Local law enforcement agencies are collaborating on a series of training sessions to practice safety procedures in a school setting. This is part of an ongoing partnership between our school district and local agencies to enhance student safety during a building lockdown and other emergencies.
The trainings will be held at Duniway Middle School on Monday, Aug. 7, Tuesday, Aug. 8 and Friday, Aug. 11 from 1 – 9 p.m. Note: these sessions will take place after summer camp sessions and do not involve students.
Passersby may notice an unusual amount of vehicles and people around the school during the training dates and times.
