The Yamhill County Transition Resource Fair will be held in the McMinnville High School Food Court on Wednesday, March 9 from 3:30 – 7 p.m.
Targeted to support individuals with disabilities, the fair includes a wide range of resources for issues connected to transportation, recreation, employment, residential case management, community inclusion and more.
Question and answer sessions will be held from 4 – 5 p.m. for educators and from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. for parents.
“This is a chance for educators and families with children who might need support to find a wealth of information in one place,” said Lee Ann Ries, director of Student Services for the McMinnville School District. “It’s a great opportunity to ask questions of multiple agencies, network and discover new possibilities for students getting ready to move out of the school environment.”
