Brown comes from Patton Middle School
(Spanish) Victoria Brown, assistant principal of Patton Middle School, has been named principal of Newby Elementary, effective July 1, 2023. She will replace Erika Nesvig, who has taken the position of director of Educational Services in Waconia, Minnesota.
Prior to Brown joining the McMinnville School District in 2021, she was a dual language teacher leader and professional development facilitator in the Newberg School District for five years and was a dual language teacher in Woodburn before that.
She graduated from Portland State University (PSU) and earned her master’s degree from George Fox University and her administrator’s license from PSU.
