Five district educators honored at annual celebration
The annual McMinnville Noon Rotary Outstanding Teacher awards honored five district educators at a luncheon on Wednesday, May 4, 2022.
The awards are intended to show the community’s support for the outstanding work done in our schools by teachers.
Superintendent Debbie Brockett kicked off the awards segment, and each principal introduced their teacher. Principals talked about why the recipients were chosen and each honoree spoke a few words.
The teachers honored this year include (from left):
- Erik Svec, Columbus
- Chris Jones, MHS
- Karly Knauss, Buel
- Melissa Hernandez, Memorial
- Brooke Giobetti, Patton (not pictured)
Each teacher will receive a plaque and monetary prize for this recognition, honoring their dedication to teaching and their students.
