The McMinnville School District has launched a new electronic flyer delivery system called Peachjar.  Flyers about school or district-approved community events that previously were sent home in student backpacks will now be posted on the school website and emailed to parents.

This is an effort to save paper, reduce copy costs and help parents better keep track of these messages.

The system includes flyers from community groups that offer opportunities that can benefit students. These are not events sponsored by the school district. Previously, these flyers were sent home with students or posted in the school lobbies.

The system can also include delivery of school newletters and announcements from the PTA.

Parents can choose delivery preferences or opt out of receiving the flyers altogether.  Whether or not parents opt out, the flyers can be viewed on school websites.

This system is used exclusively for distribution of district-approved and school flyers. Your email address will not be shared or used for any other purpose.  Parents who have not received a message from Peachjar may not have an email on file with their student’s school.  Peachjar is delivered to the email address listed as “primary” on student registration forms.

Parents who would like to add emails to their account can sign up clicking “register” in the top right corner and following the prompts.

We hope this new system will be an efficient, convenient way to keep parents informed about what’s going on in their child’s school.
