COVID vaccine events
Yamhill County Public Health and Providence Medical Center are offering COVID vaccine clinics on Thursday, Nov. 11 and Saturday, Dec. 4 at Duniway Middle School, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. The events are scheduled to fit the recommendation for the pediatric shot series for children ages 5 -11.
The clinics will offer the new pediatric vaccine dose for children ages 5 to 11. The pediatric doses are one-third of the adult dose of the Pfizer vaccine and are delivered with smaller needles designed for children.
The clinic will also offer first, second or booster shots for anyone over 12 years of age.
The vaccine is free. No health insurance is required, and it is available to everyone.
