McMinnville High School Engineering & Aerospace Sciences Academy

EASA is a specialized McMinnville High School program at Evergreen Aviation Museum that offers a unique opportunity for hands-on learning with community partners in engineering and aerospace science. Students are instructed by engineers and technicians who lecture, serve as resources for student research, and work with students on a variety of real and simulated technical problems and projects.

The Media Arts Communications Academy is a career pathways program at McMinnville High School. Ninth- through twelfth-grade students can access beginning and advanced courses that develop professional skills in a collaborative environment.

Media and communications surround our lives and help frame how we see and experience the world. Learning the tools and critical skills to understand and create messages in this new and rapidly changing landscape is a 21st-century requirement.

Patton Middle School provides students with opportunities to build a sense of "other" through service to school and community. Buel Elementary School

Sue Buel Elementary School is the District's newest school, built with funds from the construction bond passed by the community in 2006. Buel is a highly efficient "green" school that earned the first LEED for Schools Gold certification in the state by the U.S. Green Building Council. Buel's sustainable landscaping, lighting and plumbing features offer significant annual operational savings.

Columbus Elementary School

Columbus Elementary School, constructed in 1995, is the third school building on the school site. The original school was built in 1892, the brick building that replaced it was damaged beyond repair in the 1993 earthquake.

Columbus serves 525 students in grades K-5. The school mission is "Empowering Children to be responsible lifelong learners."
