How to register for kindergarten

Online registration for kindergartners for the 2025-26 school year will open in mid-April 2025.  This registration process is only for students who are new to the McMinnville School District. If your child attends MSD pre-K, you will receive information from your school about enrolling for next year. You do not need to re-enroll online or attend the May 1 registration event.

How to register:

• If your child is NOT attending MSD pre-K, start the online registration here. Be sure to choose the 2025-26 school year.

• Not sure what school your child will attend? Use the interactive map of school boundaries and enter your address to find your school. Find more information on school boundaries here.

• Required documents for registration include:

  • • Proof of child’s age (e.g., birth certificate, passport, state-issued ID)
    • Proof of address (e.g., mortgage statement, rental/lease agreement, utility bill)
    • Immunization status

  Note: Copies of proof of age and address may be uploaded during the online registration process or brought to the school.
