August dates help children and families get ready
This summer, MSD elementary schools will host two kindergarten playdates in August to give families a chance to bring their new, registered students to their school to play. Families have a chance to connect with each other and meet school staff, and kindergartners can meet future classmates and familiarize themselves with the school.
These drop-in playdates are informal and optional.
- Wednesday August 7, 10 – 11:30 a.m. AND 4:30 – 6 p.m.
- Thursday, August 8, 10 -11:30 a.m.
The week after the August playdates, Kindergarten Camp begins. The playdates and camp are intended to build connections and create a smooth transition to school for both children and families.
