As the McMinnville School Board considers a calendar adoption for the 2021-22 school year, the district invites parents and staff to give input on some options.
Both options have the following characteristics in common:
Winter Break: Dec. 20, 2021‐Jan. 2, 2022
Spring Break: March 21-25, 2022
First Day of School ‐ Sept. 7, 2021
New PD Days ‐ February 4 & August 30
The differences are:
Option A – All parent conferences are on the same dates for Elementary and Secondary
Option B – Fall (Elementary Oct. 28-29, Secondary Oct. 21-22) and Spring (Elementary April 21-22, Secondary May 5-6) Conferences on different dates for Elementary and Secondary
Option A – Last Day of School – June 17, 2022
Option B – Last Day of School – June 16, 2022
Option A ‐ October 8 is a non‐contract day for staff and September 24 is an Inservice Day
Option B ‐ October 8 is a contract day and scheduled as In‐service for staff and September 24 is a student day
